The recorder extends observation beyond the immediate real-time buffer. VA can capture long sessions, play files and analyse them with the same instruments used for live signals.
Capture
Recording may be continuous or threshold-controlled, with pre-trigger acquisition to preserve what happened before an event. Files can then be inspected with the oscilloscope, spectrum analyser and filters.
- WAV, FLAC and MP3 recording and playback
- Threshold capture and pre-trigger
- Real-time analysis during playback
- Filtering and equalisation
- Capture of audio played by other applications
- Session export and archiving
Applications
Documenting intermittent events, comparing recordings, analysing program audio, long-duration tests and building measurement archives.
